Duro impresses in big occasions
Hugo Duro is a striker for big occasions, as he showed against Atletico Madrid before the international break. The goals he has scored this season have all come against three of the top four in the current LaLiga standings: Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla FC.
He only needs to score against the league leaders, Real Sociedad, to complete the set. Coincidentally, the Basque side are Valencia CF's next opponents, as they visit Anoeta on Sunday at 9pm.

Of Valencia CF's Top 10 scorers in the 21st century, only one has managed to score against Sevilla FC, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in the same season: Miguel Ángel Mista. Hugo Duro achieved his feat over the course of just three games -and an average of 54 minutes of playing time.

He has also shown these virtues for Spain: In only one match played with the U-21s, he scored a goal that served to defeat Macedonia 0-1 in qualifying for the U-21s European Championship.
